Asia Design Week (ADW) is an international design organization and cultural exchange platform established and operated by the Asia Design Week Committee. Through exhibitions, professional awards, research initiatives, publications, educational programs, and international partnerships, ADW advances design innovation, cross-cultural exchange, and sustainable social impact.
ADW works through its Kuala Lumpur office and regional collaborative networks in Hong Kong and Seoul, connecting designers, scholars, educational institutions, and industry partners across Asia and beyond.

ADW Future Design Scholars Program
A long-term program for design-led interdisciplinary research.
Established in 2026 by the Asia Design Week Committee as a long-term initiative of Asia Design Week, the ADW Future Design Scholars Program supports interdisciplinary research driven by design and creative inquiry, advances international academic exchange, and builds a connected network of scholars across disciplines and regions.
The Program provides a framework for research support, academic exchange, and scholar development. Its principal annual funding mechanism is the ADW Future Design Fellowship, through which selected recipients receive the designation of ADW Future Design Scholar.

Scholars pursue their research independently. Where relevant, the Program creates opportunities for their work to connect with ADW’s wider ecosystem of forums, exhibitions, publications, awards, educational activities, and cross-regional professional exchange.
