The academic review for the inaugural 2026 ADW Future Design Fellowship has been completed.
Following eligibility screening, expert assessment, online interviews where necessary, and committee deliberation, the 2026 Fellowship has now entered the selection notification stage.
The review considered the intellectual quality and originality of each research proposal, the coherence and feasibility of the proposed methodology, the applicant's prior research or creative work, the value of the interdisciplinary approach, and the alignment between the proposed research environment and project implementation.
Selected applicants began receiving individual notifications through the email address provided in their applications from July 10, 2026.
Applicants selected through this review process will become the 2026 ADW Future Design Scholars. They will be formally introduced at the inaugural ADW Future Design Scholars Forum, planned for late November 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, where they will share their research directions and participate in interdisciplinary exchange around the annual theme.
