Application Checklist
Applicants should submit the following materials in English as a single PDF file.
- Curriculum Vitae
- Research Proposal, 1,500-2,000 words
- Personal Statement, up to 1,000 words
- Two Representative Works
- Host Affiliation Evidence
- Names and contact information of two referees
Research Proposal
The proposal should identify the question to be investigated, explain why design is necessary to the inquiry, and describe the methods, host context, work plan, and intended contribution.
Applicants should state how the project relates to one or more dimensions of the 2026 annual theme: Convergence, Creativity, and Sustainable Futures. The relationship should arise from the substance of the research rather than from terminology alone.
Submission Format
Combine all materials into one searchable PDF, organized in the order listed above. The application should be complete and readable without external links, except where a representative work cannot reasonably be embedded.
Host Affiliation
Submit an invitation, appointment letter, affiliation confirmation, collaboration statement, or a concise description of an active host application.
