Time and Resources for Independent Research
The 2026 ADW Future Design Fellowship provides a one-year framework of financial and institutional support for independent research developed under Design Beyond Boundaries.
Indicative Support Range
The total package may be structured within an indicative range of USD 80,000 to USD 120,000. The final amount reflects the research plan, host location, institutional requirements, and approved budget.
This is an indicative total package rather than a fixed individual stipend. The confirmed structure will be set out in the fellowship award letter.
Support Components
Support is assembled in relation to the conditions required for the proposed work. Depending on the award, it may include the following components.
Independent Research
The fellowship supports the scholar's independent work and does not prescribe a commercial deliverable. Scholars retain intellectual responsibility for their research and its publication.
Host Institution Policies
Final terms, payment routes, budget allocation, and documentation may require review and acceptance by the host institution.
