Asia Design Week has launched ADW Future Design Scholars under the 2026 annual theme, Design Beyond Boundaries: Convergence, Creativity, and Sustainable Futures.
The inaugural fellowship responds to a period in which artificial intelligence, digital media, biotechnology, ecological transition, and changing cultural conditions are redrawing established boundaries. It supports independent research that uses design to connect fields, translate knowledge into practice, and open new forms of public imagination.
Applications are open from March 1 to May 31, 2026. Review will take place from June 1 to June 14, with selected scholars notified in late June.
